The Water Research Group is a consortium of researchers focusing on the status of Scottish Water in the Public Sector. At present the Scottish Water industry is in the process of being marketised and set up for privatisation. Our work is devoted to understanding the political and economic factors underlying the current position of the Scottish Water industry and proposing policy alternatives designed to keep water where the vast majorioty of the Scottish public want it - in the public sector.

The Water Research Group is convened by Tommy Kane
