The Public Interest Research Network is a group of researchers (in and out of academia) engaged in empirical research intended to innform policy, media and public debate. the defining charcteristic of the waork is that it is undertaken in the public interest as opposed to private vested interests.

The network is not a think tank or a lobby group. It does not take corporate funding. Its members are committed to uncovering the truth behind the spin and evasion which clogs up much public debate.
